Hope Adventures Mental Health Therapy
Using animals and nature to promote hope and healing.
Hope Adventures is an outpatient therapy practice that combines traditional therapeutic techniques with farm life and animals. Everyday is a new day on the farm and can be unpredictable. Therapy sessions incorporate that mindset as each session is different and catered specifically to every client and their goals. At Hope Adventures, you get the opportunity to heal, grow and transform while interacting with animals and farm environment. Clients are given the opportunity to step outside their comfort zone and get the chance to enjoy a small taste of farm life. Hope Adventures uses animal assisted therapy, nature therapy and farm based therapy in the therapeutic process.
Using animals as a tool in the therapeutic process to help improve one's mental health.
Connecting with the sight and sounds of nature in order to promote a sense of peace, comfort and overall wellbeing.
Learning the healing powers and benefits of everyday farm work.

It was fun working with Jayne. When I started with Miss Terri, I was experiencing a lot of anxiety because my mom worked with COVID patients, and I was scared she would get sick and die. Working with the horses made me feel better and helped me deal my fears.

When I brought my daughter to the farm to help with her anxiety, I didn’t realize how much it would help me as well. The stress of the pandemic was affecting me more than I had realized, and having the opportunity to spend time on the farm with the horses helped me to relax and refocus. My favorite was Charm, who was always ready for the attention I gave her!

Barn procedures taught my daughter safety and responsibility, especially with being around large animals. Feeding and grooming the horses grew her already abundant love for animals care and compassion. She was able to take all the skills she learned while working with the horses and apply them to school and home life.
